Omani mineral exports soar to 40m tonnes in 2023
Gypsum ore exports increased 11% from 10.575 million tonnes in 2022 to 11.713 million tonnes in 2023. While construction materials made up 52% of total exports, gypsum accounted for a 29% share. These data demonstrate the strategic relevance of these commodities in Oman's export portfolio.
